We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Business Development
Manager to lead our sales and marketing effort. This is a hands-on role where
creativity meets strategy. You will be responsible for driving new business,
managing existing client relationships, and delivering memorable guest
experiences. Working closely with the directors, you will develop and execute
innovative sales and marketing strategies that enhance revenue, brand presence,
and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all sales and marketing activities, including social media,
email communications, and content creation.
Develop and implement creative marketing campaigns and strategies,
including micro and macro events (e.g., Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas).
Manage and nurture guest relationships and corporate clients,
maintaining regular engagement and high satisfaction.
Oversee reservations platforms, including DesignMyNight, and
manage all bespoke events from weddings and corporate functions to full venue
buyouts.
Drive new enquiries, convert leads into confirmed bookings, and
optimise revenue opportunities.
Handle review sites and complaint management, ensuring guest
feedback is addressed promptly and professionally.
Lead high-volume periods, particularly Christmas bookings,
ensuring smooth operation and maximised revenue.
Manage third-party gift card functions and other administrative
tasks related to restaurant operations.
Work directly with the directors to report performance, develop
strategies, and identify growth opportunities.
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in hospitality sales, business development, or
marketing.
Strong understanding of social media, email marketing, and content
creation.
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously
under tight deadlines.
Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, able to generate new
ideas and initiatives.
Experience in reservation platforms, event management, and
corporate bookings is a plus.
