About the role

The Sales Administrator will be responsible for providing support to the Sales personnel by coordinating administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and assisting customer enquiries. This role plays a key part in ensuring the sales team operates efficiently, delivering a high level of service to both internal stakeholders.


Your Responsibilities as the Sales Administrator

Key responsibilities are to provide internal sales support to help Ignition deliver a high-quality sales service and to become the “go to” security software distributor.

You will be responsible for

* Providing in-house sales support to internal and external sales personnel
* The creation and administration of quotations
* Handling inbound customer orders, checking they are complete and accurate
* Directing inbound sales opportunities to the relevant business units
* Liaising with Customers where information is missing
* Information input and maintenance into Salesforce CRM to ensure reports are accurate
* Assistance in production of sales forecast reports
* Assisting with Forecast & Pipeline
* Dealing with incoming partners and opportunities
* Being able to understand the sales process
* Any ad hoc duties as defined by your line manager


Person specification

* Experienced in a business environment
* Organised, structured, and efficient in your work, with good attention to detail
* Flexibility, and the ability to work successfully in various environments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Good team player willing to share information and foster a positive team environment
