Pet Nutrition (PN) is the most vibrant category in the FMCG sector. Our new initiative, Digital First, is designed to place pet parents at the heart of everything we do. This program aims to digitalize various business processes and create future-ready capabilities to achieve ambitious targets in growth, earnings, and pet parent satisfaction. As part of this exciting journey, we need leaders who can navigate complex challenges while building and leading a world-class data and analytics team.
Your Role
In this role, you will:
* Provide Technical Leadership: Guide data engineers and DevOps teams across growth product teams, acting as a thought partner in designing and evolving scalable data platforms.
* Establish Engineering Standards: Define and maintain data engineering standards and frameworks, ensuring consistency and quality across solutions.
* Drive DataOps Optimization: Implement modern DataOps principles to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
* Ensure Data Governance: Embed governance, security, and data quality practices into engineering workflows, promoting trust in our data assets.
* Engage Stakeholders: Collaborate with PN D&A leadership and product owners to align on data priorities that maximize value.
What You Bring
We are looking for candidates with:
* Expertise in Commercial/Procurement Analytics
* Experience with SAP (S/4 Hana)
* Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, or similar tools
* Strong technical skills in data modeling, SQL, NoSQL databases, and data warehousing
* Hands-on experience with data pipeline development and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
* Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
* Experience with DataOps practices and tools, including CI/CD for data pipelines
* Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive actionable insights from complex data sets
