A critical position in the global training department's ability to deliver successful services in India and worldwide, the incumbent will collaborate with a broad range of global stakeholders and have regular contact with customers. The role supports the delivery of the Global Training Strategy and involves innovative training methods.
This role supports the Training Analysis, Design, Delivery, and Assurance pillar of the Global Training and Documentation department. It involves delivering instructor-led training for internal and external customers. The role requires technical proficiency and experience in training, with the ability to independently create and deliver learning solutions from concept to customer satisfaction.
The role reports to the Senior Manager responsible for Instructor-Led Training and involves leading training planning across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with global standards and policies.
Training Consultant Duties:
1. Conduct training events in English and possibly other languages, tailored to target groups, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Develop and design training materials, considering didactic aspects and standards such as the SD Style Guide and SD Service Concept, with proper documentation storage.
3. Create training programs, research content, and participate in project meetings.
4. Support training development, including materials and conducting sessions related to products from various locations.
5. Conduct T3 training for new trainers.
6. Collaborate with Technical Writers and Service teams on diagnostic strategies and troubleshooting guides.
7. Evaluate feedback to improve training materials and documentation, maintaining communication with Technical Authors and Service teams.
8. Support the creation of immersive and digital training solutions for various sectors.
9. Ensure timely, within-budget delivery of multiple contracts with high-quality learner experiences.
10. Advise on Training Needs Analysis and liaise with customers to accurately portray their requirements.
11. Promote effective information flow for process improvement in relevant regions.
12. Demonstrate leadership skills working with the Global Training Director and SMT to execute the Training Strategy.
13. Build and maintain relationships with Marketing, Product Managers, and regional Service teams.
14. Provide consultancy on instructor-led training creation and implementation.
15. Maintain awareness of emerging technical trends in Training, Education, or Instructional Design.
Qualifications
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
