Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Night Support Worker, you will be part of our Lancashire Young People Supported Accommodation services, assisting 18 young people (aged 16-21) at two locations: Parker House and The Bridge in Chorley. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing security, peace of mind, and companionship to young people during out-of-office hours.
* Ensuring the physical, social, and emotional support of the young residents.
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, in line with our commitment to their well-being.
* Being a positive role model for both colleagues and the young people in our care.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
* Empathetic and compassionate, especially during challenging night-time hours.
* Proficient in using a computer for accurate record-keeping.
* Capable of following procedures, including reporting missing persons.
* A strong communicator, able to liaise effectively with out-of-hours support.
* Professional in handling phone calls and responding to inquiries.
