The Role
* Responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of the unit.
* Carry out cleaning tasks to the highest standard according to company training, including the use of cleaning machinery.
* Compose staff schedules and manage staff holidays.
* Complete onsite quality audits.
* Replenish and control cleaning stocks, materials and PPE.
* Liaise with the client, central support functions and attend departmental meetings.
* Deal with complaints in a timely and professional manner.
* Conduct and record staff training and lead the team to reach goals and maintain standards.
* Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards.
* Comply with all HACCP (Hazard analysis of critical control points) regulations as required.
* Follow procedures as directed on the correct handling and use of all cleaning materials.
The Person
* Flexible approach to work and training, with regards to times and days worked.
* Excellent eye for detail and extremely high cleaning standard.
* Customer service focused.
* Communication skills and the ability to work under own initiative.
* Previous cleaning supervisory experience.
* Clean driving licence.
* Six months or more experience in a similar role.
* GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above or equivalent.
