We are seeking a highly organised and welcoming School Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team at a thriving secondary school in Reading.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the school reception, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and parents.
* Handle telephone and email enquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
* Maintain accurate school records and support general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
* Assist with student attendance monitoring and reporting.
* Support the coordination of school events and communications.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience in administration or receptionist roles (education sector desirable but not essential).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong IT proficiency, particularly in MS Office.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
* Friendly, approachable, and adaptable to a dynamic school environment.
