We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our clients team based in Southall. The ideal candidate will have previous transport experience and a strong understanding of transport compliance, driver management, and operational planning.

9am - 7pm
£33k Per Annum
Responsibilities
* Daily transport planning to ensure efficient deliveries and collections
* Reviewing and analyzing previous day’s figures, including mileage, vehicle registrations, and fuel usage
* Monitoring driver defects and ensuring all issues are logged and resolved
* Conducting vehicle audits to maintain compliance and operational efficiency
* Managing Taco Tuesday - ensuring compliance with tachograph regulations, downloading tachograph data, and monitoring driver hours
* Identifying and addressing driver infringements to ensure legal compliance and best practices
* Liaising with drivers, ensuring they understand their routes and schedules
* Supporting the wider transport team with administrative tasks and reporting
Requirements
* Previous transport planning experience is essential
* Strong knowledge of tachograph laws and driver hours regulations
* Good analytical skills for reviewing figures, mileage, and compliance data
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
