This will primarily be Retail Projects (Morrisons and Waitrose Supermarkets) but in time may include commercial projects, MOD, MOJ, schools, care homes and upgrade works for values between £5,000 and £10m. Due to the locations and nature of these works, this role requires additional working hours and stopping out Monday to Thursday nights when required. A mutually beneficial employment package will be agreed. The primary role of the Project Manager will be ensuring that the allocated projects are run efficiently and profitably ensuring full compliance to Health & Safety legislation and contract conditions. The most critical conditions being that all work is completed to a high standard, in a safe working manner, within programme and to the total satisfaction of our client. An experienced, reliable, team player will be a welcome addition to our team. Applicant Requirements Completed a HNC/D/BSc in Construction (or equivalent) or a construction related qualification GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above in English Language, Literacy, Numeracy and ICT Willingness to undertake training programmes as deemed necessary by the Company Competent in the use of a range of IT packages Self-motivated and proactive Positive attitude and the ability to integrate and be an active part in the team Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines Keen to pursue personal development needs and maintain up to date You must hold a full current UK driving licence and have had 6 months driving experience since passing your test Currently working within the construction environment IOSH Managing/Working Safely or Site Management/Supervisor Safety Training Scheme This is a full time position and contracted hours of work will be 42 hours per week. 07:45hrs to 17:15hrs Monday Thursday 07:45hrs to 16:45hrs Friday This will also involve daily travel, additional working hours and working away as deemed necessary for the needs of the business. We undertake contracts and projects for varied companies that require our employees to undertake various security clearances along with an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.
