About the role:
The entry/mid-level position in the Data Team is a crucial role in helping the day-to-day operations of the agency to manage and secure digital assets being ingested by the agency, as well as delivering finished assets to clients.
Previous experience in digital asset management would be an advantage however, attention to detail and methodical approach to work is crucial. A knowledge of taxonomy and meta-data is preferred, as QC-ing asset quality and helping facilitate the change management process of a new system deployment will be required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills is a must, as the role requires a lot of contact with various aspects of the business on a day-to-day basis. A strong "can do" attitude with a problem-solving approach to obstacles is also strongly desired in any candidate.
Key responsibilities:
• Ingest and QC-ing of embargoed/pre-release assets from third party IP holders.
• Manage an asset library and archive.
• Checking images are of sufficient resolution and dimensions for various deliverables, including large scale Out of Home projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams from a digital asset management perspective, as well as supporting and training them on workflows and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the end-to-end workflow processes meet the business requirements.
• Ability to investigate and resolve issues under tight time constraints prioritise work, whilst providing ongoing key stakeholder support.
Key requirements:
• Proactive management of key stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, both one-to-one and in small groups.
• Ability to organise information at a high level.
• An understanding of image size and resolution, a good working knowledge of Photoshop.
• Understanding the role of metadata and taxonomy in Asset Management.
• A good understanding of UHD/HD video formats.
• Working Knowledge of framerates, conversions and codecs.
• An understanding of file based post-production workflows.
