JOB PURPOSE To manage and oversee projects from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring all site management and installation is delivered safely, on time and within budget to the required quality standard. The Contracts Manager will co-ordinate with clients, sub-contractors and the internal design team to ensure contractual obligations are met. DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES Main Duties Lead multiple contracts simultaneously, from mobilisation to final handover Interpret and manage contract terms, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation Liaise with clients, suppliers, and consultants to ensure expectations are met Provide operational input to the work-winning team on tenders Developing the strategy of project execution to meet the project targets Ensure the quality management plan is adhered to Correspondence and communicate with the client and their representatives Maintenance of good industrial relations on every project Prepare regular project update reports for review by the Head of Contracts Develop detailed project and installation schedules with clear milestones Co-ordinate labour, materials, and equipment to meet project requirements Issuing, monitoring and updating the Request of Information schedule Planning and monitoring the progress of the works Preparation of any client progress reports Weekly internal progress meetings Ensure the procurement schedule is updated in line with the programme Manage the design review process Liaising with the principal contracts and maintaining systems for managing site staff and welfare facilities Assigning responsibility for the tools and tasks necessary for the completion of the work. Ensure all installation is carried out in compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies Promote a safety-first culture across all sites Maintain confidentiality of all information at all times Provide leadership, support, and direction to the site-based team Ensure clear communications across all stakeholders both internal and external Any other duties as requested by the manager or any member of the management team ESSENTIAL Level 6 Qualification in a relevant discipline or 3 years Contracts Management Experience or Senior Project Manager in Construction or Installation Knowledge of contracts management and site practices Familiarity with Health & Safety Legislation Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent leadership, negotiation, organisational skills DESIRABLE Experience in Manufacturing SKILLS Excellent Communication and Leadership Ability to foster excellent relationships internally and externally Ability to priortise and manage multiple tasks.
