Sales Account Manager
* £30,000 -£40,000 per annum
* Stratford Upon Avon
* Mon - Fri 9.00am - 5.00pm
Our client a leader in their field is now seeking a Sales Account Manager from a Product related sales background to support in the development of new partners to ensure the continued expansion of the UK market
The requirement is for an office-based point of contact for existing customers developing long term relationships, and generating additional business. Previous experience and a track record of building and delivering relationships is essential.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
* To develop contacts and relationships with customers that ensure we are first choice when placing orders, first refusal in any competitive situation and to be familiar with customers regular requirements.
* Develop market categories & specifically new industries.
* Log, track and maintain outbound activity via Salesforce.
* Update customer information in our CRM & ERP.
* Maintain market & competitor knowledge.
* Maintain up to date product knowledge & competitor awareness which will enable you to offer alternative products when necessary
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience.
* B2B Sales, Account management or Internal Sales background.
* Product based sales background.
* Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills and work within a small, fast paced company.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
* Proficient in Office 365/Excel.
* Confident communicator both internally with the team and externally with your managed accounts.
* Proactive, organized, great time and work-load management to prioritize tasks and actions.
