* £40,000 – £43,500 basic salary (depending on experience)

The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
* Fault find on electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyors and production machinery
* Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, including PLC-related issues
* Maintain and repair plant equipment to minimise downtime
* Follow up on issues identified during maintenance inspections
* Take ownership of your area and drive improvements in maintenance KPIs
* Work closely with operations to deliver a strong, service-focused engineering function
* Ensure tools and equipment are maintained safely and effectively
* Adhere to all Health & Safety and company procedures
About You
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (essential)
* Electrically or mechanically biased with strong fault-finding skills
* Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Ability to work under pressure and use initiative
* Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* PLC fault-finding experience
* Welding or fabrication experience
