We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading and prestigious manufacturing company based in Snetterton, Norfolk. Due to their continued growth and success, they are seeking to employ a Production Operative/Machine Operator. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm. Very competitive salary offered. Reporting directly to Warehouse/Production Manager Responsibilities and duties include: Responsible for all aspects of assessment and repair including chairs and sofas, pelmets, headboards, and any other repairs required. To assist production assembling furniture and the manufacturing of pelmets and headboards. Assisting with upholstery where required. Take responsibility for your own performance and behaviours. Highlight any potential problems prior to them occurring where possible. To follow the schedule as set out by the Supervisor/Manager. Improve efficiencies, processes, and quality. Ensure the Workshop area is clean and tidy at the end of the shift. Ensure all jobs are to specification, quantity, and quality. Make sure packaging is suitable, improve where possible. Ensure we produce goods with 100% accuracy, reporting any issues. Ensure H & S standards are always maintained. Ensure equipment checks are maintained and carried out as required.
