This mainstream school with an excellent reputation is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team!
The successful applicant will:
* Have at least 6 months of classroom experience
* Be skilled in working with early learners who display challenging behaviours
* Have a track record of success with early learners and pre-verbal primary aged learners
* De-escalate situations in the first instance
* Be a strong advocate for inclusion in a mainstream school
Role responsibilities:
* Working 1:1 with 2 learners with SEN in a mainstream primary school
* Taking responsibility for safeguarding the learners and other children as necessary
* Monitoring and managin behaviour in line with school policy and relevant IEPs
* Anticipating and facilitating movement breaks
* Delivering differentiated learning as directed
* Assisting the teacher as required
