You will play a lead role across one or more multi-disciplinary agile delivery teams, own the end-to-end backlog for a product, and lead the business analysts and product consultants on your project. You will work with delivery managers and solution architects to shape the approach for the work you and the wider team undertake. You will proactively seek commercial opportunities and take a lead role in product-level commercial negotiations. You will support engagement with product or programme-level business stakeholders, gain their buy-in, and manage their expectations. You will act as a visible leader within the consulting capability, owning the delivery of consulting initiatives. You’ll also manage, coach and develop a small number of staff, focusing on managing employee performance.

Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end product backlog and responsibility for story quality and maturity.
* Lead the business analysts and product consultants on your project; ensure requirements-gathering and prioritisation processes are effective.
* Collaborate with delivery managers and solution architects to shape the approach for the work undertaken.
* Proactively seek commercial opportunities and take a lead role in product-level commercial negotiations.
* Engage with product or programme-level business stakeholders, gain their buy-in, and manage expectations.
* Act as a visible leader within the consulting capability, delivering consulting initiatives.
* Manage, coach and develop a small team, with a focus on performance management.
Qualifications
* Experience in bespoke software delivery, operating as part of an agile team for an external customer (client-facing consulting experience is a must-have).
* Healthcare or Public sector experience.
* Experience owning the end-to-end product backlog and ensuring story quality and maturity.
* Experience shaping approaches across various software development lifecycle phases (analysis, acceptance, launch, live ops) and ensuring effective requirements-gathering, refinement and prioritisation.
* Experience devising goal-oriented roadmaps, gaining stakeholder buy-in, and focusing on MVP; ability to break goals into value-delivering work.
* Experience leading product teams with a clear product vision and scope management.
* Proven ability to lead, provide direction, and promote good product management practices across one or more agile teams.
* Experience coaching and mentoring clients and colleagues in agile techniques and best practices.
* Strong team management skills, including mentoring and coaching team members and the wider community.
* Strong commercial awareness and participation in revenue or sales-generating activity.
* Ability to build relationships with product and programme-level stakeholders and facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to gain buy-in for new initiatives.
* Experience implementing tools, standards, and techniques for business analysis and requirements gathering, securing buy-in from internal teams and clients.
* Ability to work with delivery leads and solution architects to manage scope within commercial constraints (costs, deadlines).
* Demonstrates understanding of relevant technologies and architecture concepts.
