Conveyancer / Fee Earner – Residential Property

A well-regarded law firm based in Basingstoke is looking for an experienced Conveyancer to join their busy residential property team. This is a permanent, full-time role and a genuine opportunity to step into a fee-earning position where your work will be valued and your caseload will be your own.
You don't need to be a qualified solicitor, what matters is that you know conveyancing inside out, front to back.
What you'll be doing
* Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion
* Handling sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
* Carrying out title investigations and raising/responding to enquiries
* Managing exchange and completion processes, including SDLT, registration, and reporting
* Building relationships with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors
* Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' hands-on conveyancing experience
* Solid experience across the full conveyancing process, pre and post completion
* Confidence running your own caseload with minimal supervision
* Strong attention to detail and excellent client communication skills
* Familiarity with case management systems
* Qualification as a solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or CILEx is welcome but not essential
* Competitive salary reflecting your experience — up to £40k
