ABOUT THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in preparing cost estimates, tender documentation, and budget planning
2. Carry out measurements and valuations of construction works
3. Support the management of procurement processes and contract administration
4. Monitor project costs, variations, and financial progress
5. Attend site visits, client meetings, and project briefings
6. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders
7. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
8. Provide general support to senior quantity surveyors on live projects
REQUIREMENTS
9. Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or currently studying)
10. Strong numerical and analytical skills
11. Good communication and interpersonal abilities
12. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and construction cost software (e.g. CostX, Bluebeam)
13. Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
14. Ambition to progress toward RICS chartership (APC support provided)
