Project Manager (Submarines) | Defence & Maritime | £55,000 - £65,000 Bonus (Up to 15K) | Based Bristol (4 Days Onsite 1 Day Home) If you can lead complex defence projects without losing sight of the commercial picture — we want to speak with you. One of the UK’s most respected defence consultancies is growing their project delivery team. They need a sharp, delivery-focused Project Manager with real-world experience in Submarines or wider Naval programmes. The role is high-impact. You'll be the connective tissue between client expectations, delivery schedules, and engineering outputs — managing risk, cost, and communication across the lifecycle. What You’ll Be Doing: Leading complex Submarine projects from concept to closeout. Managing stakeholders across MoD, DE&S, Royal Navy, and Tier 1 suppliers. Creating structured project plans that balance technical rigour and commercial pace. Owning budgets, risk registers, and change control like a pro. Driving delivery across matrix teams (engineering, supply chain, commercial, etc). What You’ll Need: Experience delivering within UK Defence, ideally on Submarines, Naval Ships, or Underwater Systems. Solid understanding of Defence procurement routes (DE&S, JSPs, CADMID). Proven stakeholder management skills — client-facing, supplier-facing, internal teams. APM, PRINCE2 or similar certs are a bonus (but not a dealbreaker). SC clearance (or eligible) is essential. Why It’s Worth a Conversation: Real career progression across a fast-growing, specialist team. Flexible, hybrid setup based out of Bristol HQ. Projects with purpose — supporting national security and innovation at sea. Apply now or DM me for a confidential chat. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of UK underwater defence.
