What you’ll do

As the UK & Ireland Sales Director, you’ll be a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader responsible for driving revenue growth, market share, and brand presence across both retail and business channels. Leading a high-performing team of sales professionals, you’ll develop and execute sales and relationship strategies that build strong, long-term partnerships with major distributors, retailers, and resellers. You’ll own the full sales lifecycle, from forecasting and planning to product launches and promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with company vision, profitability targets, and growth objectives. Your daily focus will be to inspire collaboration, develop talent, and foster a high-performance, accountable culture that delivers exceptional commercial results in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

How you’ll do it

1. Lead and inspire the UK & Ireland Sales team to exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets

2. Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for each business unit aligned with company growth plans

3. Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers, securing long-term partnerships and maximising opportunities

4. Drive accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting to leadership, ensuring optimal performance and meeting KPIs

5. Collaborate closely with Marketing to develop and implement marketing plans, sales promotions, and product launches

6. Manage product lifecycle activities in partnership with Business Unit Product teams, ensuring timely new product introductions and relevant range hierarchies

7. Analyse market trends to identify growth opportunities through new channels, partnerships, or customer segments

8. Own P&L responsibility for the region, managing departmental expenses within budget guidelines

9. Foster a high-performance culture by coaching, mentoring, and developing your team to empower growth and development

10. Represent the UK & Ireland region in global and EMEA leadership meetings, contributing to cross-functional initiatives

11. Travel across UK & Ireland regularly, with occasional international travel as required

What you’ll need

12. Proven ability to lead and develop successful teams in a multi-channel environment

13. Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset

14. Deep understanding of UK & Ireland retail and B2B landscapes within consumer electronics or related tech/FMCG sectors

15. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a customer-centric approach

16. Excellent analytical skills for forecasting, financial planning, and performance measurement

17. Experience owning P&L and managing budgets effectively

18. Ability to manage product lifecycle and support new product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams

19. Exceptional leadership skills to build, empower, and inspire a high-performing, diverse team

20. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global environment with a willingness to travel regularly

What you’ve done

21. 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role

22. Industry or channel experience essential

23. Built and maintained strong, long-term relationships with major retailers, distributors, and key B2B customers

24. Managed full sales cycle including forecasting, budgeting, promotions, and product lifecycle management

25. Led sales strategy transformations, new market entries, or channel expansions successfully

26. Managed teams of senior and national account managers, fostering a culture of high performance and development
