Shifts- Days Role (6am-2pm Monday–Friday)
£44,000 + 5% Bonus + 10% Pension + 33 Days Holiday
Location- Commutable from Runcorn, Warrington & Chester

You’ll join a highly skilled maintenance team working Monday to Friday, 6am–2pm, supporting the smooth running of fast-paced production lines and modern automated machinery.
The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of production and packaging equipment.
Involvement in continuous improvement projects and machinery upgrades.
Working closely with production and engineering teams to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
Supporting new CAPEX installations and helping to commission new equipment.
Performing mechanical fault finding, strip-downs, rebuilds, and routine servicing.
Using your fabrication and welding skills — a competent welder would be a real advantage in this role.

About You
Time-served or apprentice-trained Mechanical Engineer
Strong background in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
Confident working with pneumatics, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and other automated systems
Welding/fabrication skills are highly desirable
Positive, proactive attitude with an interest in developing and cross-training
