Job purpose
The Business Development Manager will play a central role in delivering Pensions UK’s ambitious growth strategy by significantly increasing membership numbers and contributing to the development of new products and services.
This role is primarily focused on new business generation. The post holder will design and execute a structured acquisition strategy to attract new organisations into membership, broaden Pensions UK’s reach across the pensions sector, and strengthen its influence and sustainability.
Working closely with the Membership and Commercial Development Director, and in collaboration with Policy and Advocacy colleagues, the Business Development Manager will also contribute to identifying, shaping and testing new commercial propositions. By combining strong sector networks, market insight and proactive engagement, the post holder will help build a robust pipeline of future products and services aligned to member needs.
This is a highly outward-facing role suited to someone well connected in the pensions sector, who enjoys networking, building relationships and generating new opportunities from scratch.

Salary ranges from £60k-£80k per annum, depending on experience
