Job Description:
Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be part of a high-performing group working on complex, critical infrastructure projects. As a NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician, you will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved according to procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management with providers, regional control, and field resources.
7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
8. Liaise with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Candidate Profile:
Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment. Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution. Good communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
