Assistant in Commercial Property Team
Location: Newcastle, ST5 1EH (in-office role)

We are entering an exciting new phase of growth across the firm and are looking to expand our Corporate Team by recruiting someone dynamic.
The role offers the opportunity to work as part of a cohesive team, with scope to develop skills, take on responsibility, and progress within the firm.
Following skills required:
Essential:
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* A client-focused and professional approach.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance cover.
* A proactive and adaptable approach.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Desire to develop and progress within a growing firm.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the team
* Manage diaries, coordinate meetings and arrange conference calls or client appointments
* Liaise professionally with clients and external parties
* Maintain and update client files and records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
* Handle incoming correspondence, calls and emails, responding or redirecting as appropriate
* Assist with billing and file opening/closing procedures
* Manage electronic and physical filing systems to ensure information is up to date and easily accessible
* Undertake administrative tasks to support transaction deadlines and project milestones
* Maintain confidentiality and data protection compliance at all times.
* Providing excellent client care.
* Attending other Nowell Meller offices and offsite visits where required.
