Job summary
Following the overall business targets and objectives, the Business Manager of Syndicate will assist the Business Manager of Primary Credit with a focus on Syndicate with his key day-to-day responsibilities primarily around projects/initiatives coordination, action follow ups, instances/committees and stakeholder’s coordination to globally ensure that the operational aspects and the set-up are optimised. The Business Manager of Syndicate will also be responsible for implementing procedures and best practices and assist the Global Co-Head of Primary Credit based in London in strategic presentations to ensure good alignment across the platform.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Based in London, the successful candidate will assist the Business Manager of Primary Credit in the following tasks.
1. Assist the Business Manager of Primary Credit in day-to-day queries with a special focus on Syndicate topics
2. Automation of the reporting’s in collaboration with the Business Manager of Primary Credit
3. Perform daily DCM and Syndicate P&L analysis and related commercial analyses for the Credit Management
a) Collect P&L data for the day, challenge the data sources and chase inconsistencies, and industrialise the reportings for the official Front Office Global P&L on Credit.
b) Perform ad hoc analysis on results, League Tables, etc. through Business Objects and existing reports.
c) Improvement of the Global Credit COO set-up in term of reporting production and control framework
4. Help in reviewing, updating, maintaining and implementing Policies and Procedures for Syndicate
a) Ensure the Syndicate rules and procedures are in line with new CMF best practices.
b) Assisting with any remediation action on existing Primary Credit practices to comply with the intent of CMF Policies & Procedures.
c) Help circulate the new regulatory culture in Syndicate staff.
5. Contribute actively to the roadmap and strategic projects
a) Active participation to ensure the delivery of Primary Credit roadmap
b) Supervision/lead and contribution on some specific projects and analysis
6. Assist the Global Co-Head of Primary Credit based in London in strategic presentations to ensure good alignment across the platform
a) Ad hoc special analyses, business plans, governance presentations.
b) Communication and Reporting with trading and sales to ensure good alignment between Primary and secondary Credit
c) Incident reporting and coordinator with IG and audit missions
7. Ensure an efficient coordination with the support functions; participate to the Filière Bonds OpCO & other instances and manage transversal projects (booking Omega, budget, fail/claim, NAP, etc.)
