Responsibilities
* We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective linguist with Spanish to join our Modern Foreign Languages department. The ability to teach French in addition to Spanish is highly desirable but not essential.
* The MFL team teaches across KS3- KS5; KS3 has a varied and engaging curriculum; KS4 and KS5 follow the AQA specification.
* Be a team player who will instil a passion for MFL through high-quality teaching and learning and have proven success in terms of examination results.
* Contribute to a bespoke CPD programme, research and development, and links with other outstanding schools; participate in extra-curricular and cross-curricular opportunities.
* As form tutor, support, develop and welfare of the students, upholding standards and commitment in subject role.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified teacher with the ability to teach Spanish; ability to teach French is desirable but not essential.
* Experience or potential with ECTs; ability to work within a collaborative department.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; this post will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
