EZOO, a fast‑growing electric‑vehicle and mobility business, is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the full B2B sales cycle for our electric vehicle salary‑sacrifice solution. The role involves lead generation, prospect qualification, closing deals, and onboarding new partners.
Role known internally as Salary Sacrifice‑Scheme Sales Executive.
Salary: £60,000 OTE (includes £35,000 base) + electric car + benefits.
Location: Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in the Coventry office.
Job Type: Full‑time, permanent.

Duties
* Managing the full sales cycle: qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations, negotiating agreements, and securing new partnerships.
* Generating new business opportunities by prospecting through outbound activity, networking, referrals, and industry events.
* Building commercial relationships with HR directors, finance managers, benefits professionals, and senior stakeholders.
* Delivering tailored demonstrations of salary‑sacrifice and electric vehicle solutions to prospective clients.
* Creating business cases and ROI models to support decision‑making.
* Maintaining CRM records, forecasting revenue, and reporting sales performance accurately.
* Collaborating with operations, product, and marketing teams to support successful onboarding and account activation.
* Supporting employee launch activities to maximise scheme participation within client organisations.
* Monitoring industry trends and keeping up to date with competitor activity, EV developments, and government policy changes.
* Representing EZOO at industry events to build brand awareness and generate pipeline opportunities.
* Achieving revenue targets and consistently meeting monthly and quarterly objectives within an uncapped commission structure.
Essential Candidate Requirements
* Solid experience in a B2B sales role with a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Proven experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
* Experience engaging with HR directors, finance leaders, benefits managers, or C‑suite executives.
* Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
* Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage credibly with senior decision‑makers.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Self‑motivated with the ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
* Background in employee benefits, salary sacrifice, fleet management, car leasing, automotive, or EV sectors.
* Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar structured sales methodologies.
* Knowledge of electric vehicles, Benefit in Kind, National Insurance, and salary‑sacrifice tax structures.
* Experience within a start‑up, SaaS, or high‑growth commercial environment.
