The Role:
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our brain injury rehabilitation unit. You’ll work closely with nurses, therapists, and doctors to support patients with their day-to-day needs and rehabilitation goals. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys making a real difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
*
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of patients
*
Support patients during therapy sessions and activities
*
Encourage independence and recovery through everyday tasks
*
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to clinical staff
*
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
*
Communicate sensitively with patients, families, and colleagues
*
Accurately document care provided in line with hospital procedures
About You:
*
Previous experience in a care or hospital setting is desirable (training will be provided)
*
Empathetic, patient, and respectful approach to care
*
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
*
Physically able to assist with patient care and movement
*
Willingness to learn about brain injury and rehabilitation practices
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*
A genuine passion for helping others
