Energy & Utilities Lead Enterprise Architect – Senior Manager

Salary: £100,000 – £120,000 + £6,000 car allowance + 10% bonus

Type: Permanent | Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Energy & Utilities Lead Sector Architect at Senior Manager level to design, shape, and deliver complex technology-enabled transformations across the energy and utilities sector. You will help clients develop visionary, tech-enabled business platforms, create strategic roadmaps, and implement innovative solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Architect end-to-end technology solutions across multiple domains, guiding clients through transformation journeys.
* Shape and maintain sector technology and architecture reference assets, ensuring they remain cutting-edge.
* Provide technical oversight across large-scale programmes, ensuring architectural vision is delivered.
* Work closely with Tier 1 clients in the energy and utilities space, bringing outside-in perspectives to accelerate adoption of new technologies.
* Mentor and develop the next generation of architects, supporting capability growth and innovation in areas such as cloud, data, and AI orchestration.
* Support business development activities alongside client delivery and practice expansion.
* Drive innovation across cloud, data, and emerging technologies.

What We’re Looking For

* Deep expertise in Energy & Utilities business and technology architecture, with knowledge of sector regulations and their impact on technology.
* Proven track record designing and implementing technology-enabled business platforms for Tier 1 clients.
* Strong background in end-to-end solution and enterprise architecture.
* Experience leading and shaping multidisciplinary teams on complex transformation projects.
* Familiarity with the vendor landscape in the energy and utilities sector.
* Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, SAFe, vendor-specific).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, from C-suite to operational level.
* Strong knowledge of cloud, data, and AI markets and technologies.
