The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring DT lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on developing creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality DT lessons in line with the national curriculum Teach a range of DT disciplines such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Food Technology (depending on your expertise) Assess, monitor, and report on student progress Maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating learning environment, particularly within workshops or specialist rooms Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide events Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching DT at secondary level (KS3 and KS4 essential; KS5 desirable but not required) Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage students of varying abilities Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one) Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills If you are interested, please apply TODAY!
