Location: Kings Hill, West Malling – Hybrid- 2/3 days per week in the office
Contract Type: Full time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE
We’re looking for someone who can work flexible hours in this role, covering at least three days per week to align with US working hours. Ideally, this would be from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm to effectively support colleagues across different time zones.
About the role
We’re looking for an People Team Business Partner to join our HR department. You will be responsible for effectively supporting the delivery if Amtivo’s People Strategy, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure we have appropriate resources that enable the business to achieve its budget and 3YP. To uphold and deliver the Company Values across the Group, communicating effectively, collaborating freely and acting with integrity to ensure we consistently meet, quality and commercial goals
Supporting effective response to plan changes across the Group with the People Team.
Maintaining accurate information on third party contractors for the US.
You will be taking lead in supporting Amtivo’s People team, with a focus on our Americas business, working closely with colleagues, and key internal and external stakeholders in the development and implementation of its People Strategy, practices and regulations that enable the business to meet the Budget and 3YP.
What you'll be doing
Resourcing:
* Support the development and implementation of effective training and onboarding plans, liaising with People and Talent Acquisition colleagues, and Team Leads in the US to ensure a consistent approach across the Group.
* Support the maintenance of accurate contractor agreements in the US, ensuring a consistent approach, liaising with the Delivery and Client Services Teams on challenges and opportunities identified, ensuring we mitigate any risk to our contractor delivery model.
Planning:
* Work closely with teams and managers across the group with a focus on the Americas, to inform the People Strategy. Act as a key liaison, collaborating freely and acting with Integrity.
* Provide input in the planning, implementation and management of Group Policies and Procedures ensuring we maintain legal compliance in the region.
Delivering:
* Assist in performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes, liaising with Team Leads offering sound advice in line with business procedures and local legislation to ensure accountabilities are understood and delivered.
* Provide timely responses and sound guidance to employee queries, sharing any common issues are raised with the GPD and Team Leads as appropriate to support and implement swift resolutions and recognise opportunities for improvement.
Reporting:
* Oversee the payroll process where required, liaising with the US Finance Team providing accurate and timely information and maintaining employee records.
* Stay up to date state and federal legislation, making effective use of all external resources and experts to ensure Group Compliance and report any changes to the GPD. Mitigating any potential risks.
What success looks like
* Supporting effective response to plan changes across the Group with the People Team.
* Maintaining accurate information on third party contractors for the US.
* Working with key stakeholders to support the development of staff ensuring with have the required capabilities required to support the delivery of the 3YP.
What you’ll bring
* Essential- 4 years’ experience within a HR focused role.
* Ideally have experience in both UK and USA policies and procedures.
* Strong organisation, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication, encourages and promotes accountability to build engagement and alignment with organisational goals.
* Role models appropriate behaviour, offers support and encourages an open and honest dialogue with team leads.
