Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a Senior Agile Research Delivery Team Nurse who will be responsible for a case load across Luton, Essex and the Herts Valley. You will work collaboratively with members of general practices, primary care teams and wider care & community settings across a range of sites and with key individuals within the host organisation.
From October 2024, the NIHR Clinical Research Network became the NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN). The RDN supports the effective and efficient initiation and delivery of funded research across the health and care system in England for the benefit of patients, the health and care system and the economy.
* Clinical trials and other well‑designed health and social care research studies (including studies that are delivered outside of an NHS setting).
* Public health studies that require the recruitment of individuals within an NHS setting (acute, ambulance, mental health, community or primary care) or an episode of care which involves contact with the NHS.
The whole of England is supported through 12 NIHR Regional Research Delivery Networks (RRDNs) which work with the national Coordinating Centre to provide a joint RDN leadership function.
We work together, and in conjunction with MSE Health and Care Partnership, to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients, and provide a vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.
This post is funded through East of England RRDN and the post is currently based at Broomfield Hospital. You will be expected to travel at times across Luton, Herts Valley and Essex to support research across agile settings. A clean driver’s licence is required and business mileage will be paid according to agenda for change travel guidelines.
Band 6. Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest trusts, with a workforce of approximately 15,000 people serving a population of 1.2 million.
