Driver Hire Sudbury are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Refuse lorry driver, for an immediate start.
We are seeking, experienced and reliable HGV drivers to work with one of our clients operating dustcart / bin lorry collection vehicles in the Sudbury area.
Job Details:
* Pay rate: £16.64 per hour
* 06.30am - 15.00pm, 30min unpaid break
* 40hrs per week, overtime after 15.30 (time and a half)
* Monday to Friday
* Ongoing and ad hoc work available
* Immediate start
* Weekly pay
The Role:
* Driving and operating refuse / recycling collection, dustcart vehicles
* Working as part of a collection team on residential or commercial routes
* Ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks
* Following all health & safety procedures
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
* CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
* Previous refuse or dustcart experience advantageous but not essential
* Good understanding of safety procedures
* Reliable and team-focused attitude
