Responsibilities
* Leading a skilled operations team across air, road, and multimodal shipments.
* Overseeing urgent AOG and high-value movements end-to-end.
* Acting as the key escalation point—ensuring 24/7 operational readiness.
* Managing workflow, planning, compliance and operational controls.
* Working closely with commercial teams on routing and solutions.
* Negotiating with carriers, handlers and hauliers to optimise cost and service.
* Tracking KPIs and supporting senior leadership with reporting and planning.
What You’ll Bring
* 5+ years in air freight, aviation logistics, AOG or time-critical operations.
* Experience leading an operations team.
* Deep understanding of air freight, road freight, customs and airline processes.
* Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
* Customer-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
* Experience with freight management systems (e.g., BoxTop or similar).
