What is the job role?
The Governors of Park Hill Primary School are seeking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with SEND responsibilities to join our Early Years Team, who holds a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification. The role involves supporting children with special educational needs or disabilities, ensuring they have access to the same learning opportunities as their peers.
The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The start date for this post is September .
The pro-rata pay for this role is £11,-£12, (20 hours per week)
This is a Fixed Term contract till 31 August
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking to appoint someone passionate, caring, with a knowledge of SEND, who understands the development needs and can support learning gaps.
Someone who:
1. has recent experience working with children in a school setting
2. holds a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification.
3. knows SEND and knows how to adapt to the provision to meet needs
4. can understand developmental needs and support learning gaps
The closing date for this post is Monday, 30 June (midnight).
Shortlisting will take place on Tuesday 1st July
Interviews for this post will be held on Tuesday 8th July.
