ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Qualifications / Registration
Band 6 applicants must be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Biomedical Scientist and have completed the IBMS Specialist Diploma (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline, and have at least 1 year’s post HCPC registration experience in the relevant discipline.
OR have been employed as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist (Band 6) in the relevant discipline for at least 3 of the last 6 years, maintaining HCPC registration and appearing on the register.
Other Requirements
Hold a current full driving licence valid for use in the UK and have access to a car; this criterion is waived for applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have approved transport.
