About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes across various subjects, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with pre-set work. Responsibilities: • Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and instructions provided by teaching staff. • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and expectations. • Support students with their work, encouraging focus, participation, and independence. • Report back to teaching staff on student progress, behaviour, and any issues arising during lessons. • Follow safeguarding procedures and promote student well-being at all times.
