Looking to establish and develop a career that helps organisations solve complex problems by harnessing the power of Data and AI solutions, creating and driving innovation?
By joining our Digital and Data team, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of a wide portfolio of projects ranging from data engineering and advanced analytics to deploying machine learning models. Turning raw data into actionable insights, you will work on real-world challenges like predictive modelling, computer vision, and natural language processing, also gaining experience with data visualisation and decision support tools.
Remit of this role will include:
1. Gather, clean, and prepare data from multiple sources, including structured, unstructured, and streaming data.
2. Design, develop, and evaluate machine learning models for tasks such as classification, regression, recommendation systems, and NLP.
3. Contribute to building and optimising data pipelines, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and performant.
4. Use data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Plotly) to create dashboards and reports that bring insights to life for stakeholders.
5. Assist in integrating AI models into client-facing applications and decision-making workflows.
6. Apply software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and agile delivery.
Here's what you'll need:
We are keen to hear from Graduate/MSc level candidates with the following skills and experience:
* A degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
* Strong foundation in programming (preferably Python) and familiarity with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
* Understanding of core machine learning concepts and workflows, from data preprocessing to model evaluation.
* Some experience in building visualisations or dashboards to communicate insights.
* Knowledge of SQL and basic database design principles.
