We are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to join the Employability and Learning team as a Band 5 Learning Adviser.
The Role
* Working collaboratively as part of the Employability and Learning Team to ensure high‑quality learning and e‑learning content is available to support the Learning Strategy, Learning Plan and Corporate Objectives.
* Proactively leading the development, maintenance and delivery of the NHS Fife Corporate Induction programmes for new members of staff.
* Working with Subject Matter Experts to plan, develop, review and update NHS Fife eLearning resources, ensuring version control and timely review cycles.
* Supporting the design, development and ongoing improvement of digital learning technologies and platforms, including content upload and management.
* Evaluating and reviewing learning programmes to ensure they remain current, engaging and aligned to organisational needs.
The Team
The Employability and Learning Team plays a critical role in supporting NHS Fife to achieve its strategic objectives by developing a skilled, engaged, and motivated workforce. The department is responsible for:
* Staff Experience & Engagement – Leading initiatives such as iMatter to measure and improve staff experience.
* Performance Development – Supporting managers and staff through Turas Appraisal (PDPR) to ensure effective performance conversations and personal development planning.
* Learning & Development – Designing and delivering training programmes to build capability and leadership across the organisation.
* Employability – Supporting key initiatives to deliver employment to underprivileged groups.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in design/developing, delivering, evaluating and maintaining a range of generic learning programmes, such as Induction, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer care.
* Experience of developing eLearning.
* Excellent communication, including written communication/interpersonal skills.
* Ability to travel between healthcare sites across Fife.
