Our fantastic facilities include a 266 seater theatre as well as a new dedicated drama block. Drama is very popular with large numbers studying the subject at GCSE and A-Level and many students furthering their studies at University and Drama Schools. Applicants must be willing to contribute to the vibrant and busy enrichment programme that Drama currently offers, including the Young Actor’s Tour; directing the Whole School Show in the autumn term, which for 2026 will be a play; as well as the Summer Showcase later in the year. We are proud of the number of students who are successful in gaining a place in the National Youth Theatre (auditions are held here annually) and more recently, one of our students was awarded Best Actor in a Play 2025 at the National Theatre Awards, in our production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
