We are seeking an experienced and successful General Manager to lead, motivate, and inspire the team at this stunning countryside pub.
This amazing site has just undergone a no-expense-spared refurbishment, and we are looking for an exceptional leader to usher in a new era for the venue.
The beautiful pub features a stylish bar area and a 50-cover dining room, with a focus on locally sourced, fresh food. Most vegetables are grown in their own non-dig vegetable and flower garden, and the meat is locally sourced, with a commitment to using the whole animal. Sustainability is a core value of the owners.
You will be responsible for managing the team and achieving overall hotel targets to deliver an outstanding guest experience. The General Manager will also oversee profitability and guest satisfaction metrics. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing profitability, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded
* Providing effective leadership to a dynamic, young team
* Ensuring compliance with and exceeding all Brand Service Standards
* Controlling costs and sourcing revenue opportunities effectively
What are we looking for?
* An excellent, food-focused General Manager
* Rooms experience is a plus but not essential
* Proven experience in leading and motivating a team
* Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting in a similar-sized property
* Strong leadership skills
* Exceptional communication abilities
* Hands-on operational management experience of the property
