ARC HD Services Ltd is part of Community Integrated Care and provides residential care and 1:1 support for young people aged 9-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, including ASD, ADHD, PTSD, eating disorders, and trauma-related behavioural challenges. The homes support up to three young people each with a focus on individualised, child-centred care.
About the Home
* Meadow View is a warm, vibrant, therapeutic residential bungalow supporting up to three young people aged 10-18.
* Facilities include private bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, a communal snug and dining room, wraparound garden, and nearby woodland walks, parks, and beaches.
* Located in a semi-rural area with easy access to Portsmouth, Southampton, and Fareham; older young people have access to public transport for independent travel.
Role and Responsibilities
* Work 1:1 with a young person during each shift.
* Shifts range from 9 to 15 hours, with longer shifts split into blocks (8am-1pm, 1pm-6pm, 6pm-11pm).
* Sleep-in duties are part of the role.
* Receive specialist training in attachment theories, trauma-informed practice, and other relevant areas.
* Contribute as an honest, proactive, and non-judgemental team member who can build trusting relationships and use humour to support the group.

Requirements
* Full driving license for a manual car is preferred; enhanced DBS check will be completed.
* Previous caregiving experience is desirable but not essential; you will be trained and supported to work with our young people.
