Qualified Accountant - Lisburn - Practice - £40,000 - £50,000 About the Role BlackFox Solutions are delighted to be seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accountant to join our clients established and growing accounting practice in Lisburn. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements, and providing high-quality accounting and tax services to a wide range of businesses. Key Responsibilities Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Preparing and reviewing management accounts Completing and reviewing VAT returns Preparing personal and corporate tax returns Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact Providing advice and support to clients on accounting and tax matters Liaising with HMRC and other external bodies where required Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing guidance where necessary Requirements Qualified or qualified by experience (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred) Minimum of 35 years experience in an accountancy practice Strong knowledge of accounts preparation, VAT, and taxation Experience managing client relationships and handling multiple assignments Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team If youre open to a confidential conversation about this opportunity, feel free to get in touch directly.
