Key responsibilities include: Delivering direct support to young people in schools and the community Using a range of evidence-based tools and techniques for assessment, goals and motivating young people Carrying out assessments to ensure suitability for the service Managing your own case load For further details and to view the full job description click here and here for the person specification. Previous experience working with children and young people is essential for this role. You must have a recognised qualification in working with mental health and well-being or significant experience supporting children and young people's emotional well-being and mental health. A CBT qualification is desirable for this role. We are looking for individuals with awareness of mental and emotional health issues affecting children, young people and their families. It is important you have excellent communication skills and can engage effectively with a wide range of people and age groups, and build strong working relationships.
