Are you looking for a rewarding role in a coastal community with a welcoming and supportive team? Eyemouth Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated GP to join us for six sessions per week.
About Us
Nestled in the friendly town of Eyemouth on the beautiful Berwickshire coast of the Scottish Borders, we provide quality, patient‑centered care to a diverse population. Our practice thrives on teamwork, innovation and a commitment to a healthy work‑life balance. Our list size is currently 6,800.
* Team: Collaborative, multidisciplinary and forward‑thinking. Three GP partners, two salaried GPs, one PCIP ANP, three practice nurses, first‑contact physiotherapist, practice‑employed pharmacist with support for NHS Borders Pharmacotherapy hub and onsite community treatment and care nurses/HCAs, excellent administrative team including workflow administrator.
* Technology: EMIS PCS and docman.
* Environment: Purpose‑built and recently extended building with large consulting rooms. Co‑located with a full complement of NHS Borders community healthcare team members onsite.
* Culture: Friendly, inclusive and supportive, with regular team meetings and social rest breaks.
The Role
* Four to six sessions per week.
* 15‑minute appointments as standard, generous balance of clinical and admin time.
* BMA model contract.
* Share of visits/duty doctor responsibilities.
* Competitive salary and access to NHS pension scheme.
* Six weeks of annual leave per annum and study leave as required. Peer‑to‑peer support for professional development and opportunities for developing special interests.

* GMC registered GP with excellent communication and clinical skills.
* Team player with a passion for delivering compassionate and high‑quality care.
* Open to both experienced and newly qualified GPs seeking a supportive environment to develop their careers.
* Successful candidate to start early 2026, however we are willing to wait if necessary for the right person.
