We are looking for a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is considering a future in teaching or has experience working with young people in a school setting. Beginning September 2025. Duties as a Cover Supervisor: Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers Ensure that students remain on task with the work set by the teacher Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and engagement Assist with administrative tasks and support across the school as needed Ideal Cover Supervisor: Experience working with young people, ideally in a school environment Strong communication and behaviour management skills as a Cover Supervisor Confidence in leading a classroom and ensuring a positive learning environment Flexibility, resilience, and a professional attitude A genuine interest in supporting the education and well-being of students Why Step Teachers?
