About the Role
Senior Support Worker - Nights at Kisimul Group Limited. Location: Acacia Hall, Friesthorpe (near Market Rasen), Lincoln. This is a residential role for Children and Young People with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Shifts operate 19:30 – 07:30 with a 1 hour break.
Responsibilities
* Work with all levels of the staff team to safeguard the young people at all times.
* Assist the Registered Manager to allocate staff to ensure shifts run smoothly and with appropriate numbers.
* Oversee medication administration in line with Individual Pupil Care Plans (IPCP).
* Maintain clear and accurate records, including care planning and required reports.
* Chair regular staff meetings and handover meetings; disseminate information promptly and appropriately.
* Work with the Training Department to promote training and support individuals to complete relevant qualifications through regular supervision.
* Create positive relationships with the young people, offering dignity and respect.
* Meet the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young people; review and record changes to those needs.
What We Need From You
* A Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care or be qualified by experience.
* Leadership experience, preferably within Children’s Services.
* A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.
* A strong team player with resilience and the ability to seek support when needed.
About The Role Details
We are looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker - Nights to join our Lincoln Residential Home for Children and Young People with learning disabilities and complex needs. The home is located in a rural setting near Lincoln and Market Rasen.
Compensation and Benefits
* Pay levels: Level 1 - £14.24, Level 2 - £15.23, Level 3 - £16.30 per hour.
