Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Colwyn Bay – Hybrid Working
Salary: £47,000 – £60,000 per annum

The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of cost and commercial management services on a variety of projects. You will oversee client relationships, manage junior colleagues and ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards of value, compliance and financial control. Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and managing cost estimates, budgets and cash flow forecasts
* Leading contract administration and ensuring compliance with commercial procedures
* Managing procurement processes, tendering and bid evaluation
* Reviewing and agreeing variations, valuations and final accounts
* Providing strategic cost advice and reporting to clients and stakeholders
* Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
The Person
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Demonstrable experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction, infrastructure or consultancy environments
* Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC, JCT or similar)
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the ability to lead relationships
* Good leadership and mentoring ability to support junior colleagues
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, with professional membership (or working towards chartership) highly desirable
