Location: Secondary Schools across Sutton in Ashfield
Contract Type: Flexible, Day-to-Day
Salary: £100-£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Are you passionate about education and looking to make a difference in the classroom without the pressure of planning and marking?
We're seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our dynamic supply team, supporting secondary schools across Rotherham.
Responsibilities
* Supervise classes during teacher absences across a range of subjects
* Deliver lesson plans provided by teaching staff
* Manage student behaviour in line with school policies
* Ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment
* Report back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues
* Support students with their learning where appropriate; uphold safeguarding and child protection standards at all times
Requirements
* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (A*-C or equivalent)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage behaviour confidently and calmly
* Previous experience working with young people (desirable)
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
