About the role We are looking for a Unified Communications Consultant with an experienced IT technical background, good customer focus and a passion for delivering projects of varying sizes and complexity. Working within the UC Delivery Team, you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions from world-class vendors. You’ll have a clear passion for the subject and focus on delivering bespoke solutions for our customers. Our ideal candidate will have an experienced IT background and good understanding of Active Directory, IP Networking, Virtual Infrastructure, SIP and VoIP. An excellent analytical person and able to drive technical solutions with a friendly customer-oriented focus. Strong time management skills are also needed, as you will be managing a diverse workload in a demanding environment. Customer projects will be delivered either from Aspire’s offices or customer sites UK & Ireland, so a valid driver's license is required. Communication with customers will take place over the phone and via email whilst utilising fault-finding programmes that assists you to diagnose and fix customer problems remotely. What you will be doing Delivering leading solutions from vendors such as Mitel and Microsoft, you will be involved in the installation of telephone systems, IVR, Omni-Channel Contact Centres (Voice/Chat/Email), Softphone & Collaboration Tools, AI CX tools (voice/chatbots), and integrations with 3rd party applications. As a key member of the UC Team, you will: Develop an understanding of Aspire’s UC product set through hands-on learning and technical accreditation Work with the Senior UC Consultants & Engineers to design and assist the delivery of customer UC solutions Lead individual projects (based on skills and experience), working independently or with other team members Manage your assigned projects technically alongside the Project Management Team Collaborate with the PMO team to incorporate procurement, project management, and provisioning into your projects Support continual improvement by identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency including automation of manual processes. Document and hand over completed projects to Aspire’s UC Support Team You will suit the role if you have Experience working in Unified Communications with the following products: Mitel MiVoice Business/ MiCC Business/ MiCollab Mitel Interaction Recording/ Talkative/ Workforce Management Microsoft Teams Direct Routing Anywhere365 Contact Centre 3rd Party API Integration Tools SIP Trunking/ AudioCodes SBCs VMWare & Hyper-V Infrastructure A good understanding of IP Networking and Unified Communications concepts. A willingness to learn and self-develop. Troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including internal teams and customers. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, often in high-pressure situations. Formal IT industry qualifications in related disciplines. A full and valid UK driving license. Hours of work 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with occasional evening and weekend overtime required.
